Unlock your entrepreneurial potential with this 3-week MedTech Bootcamp. Explore the possibilities of creating impact through research commercialisation. This program will introduce researchers to entrepreneurship, flexibly, combining blended masterclasses, workshops and coaching.

Program Overview

The RMIT Activator MedTech Bootcamp nurtures entrepreneurial and commercialisation capability in RMIT research staff, students and alumni. This 3-week mixed-delivery program consists of masterclasses, workshops and coaching. We enable researchers to explore creating impact through entrepreneurship, in a flexible learning model. Upon completion of the MedTech Bootcamp, participants will be equipped with the knowledge evaluate the commercialisation potential of their research. 

This MedTech Bootcamp is funded through RMIT’s Victorian Higher Education State Investment Fund (VHESIF) Program, and is part of RMIT’s exciting social innovation agenda.

Program Structure

The MedTech Bootcamp consists of approximately 8 contact hours delivered over 3 weeks and is underpinned by self-paced learning delivered through the LearnWorlds platform. Participants must pitch at the final Pitch Session on 08/12/22 to be eligible for funding.

Eligibility

This program is open to all RMIT affiliates i.e. staff, students and alumni. It is ideally for researchers exploring impact through commercialisation including research staff, higher degree research students and honours students.

Program Grant

As this program is designed to help you explore the initial foundation of commercialising your research, there is a grant available valued at AU $2,500. Eligibility and consideration for this grant is subject to attendance of all program elements and completion of online learning modules.
